The fourth UCISA Spotlight on Digital Capabilities event will be held on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 May 2018 at the University of Warwick in the Radcliffe Conference Centre, a newly refurbished conference and hotel centre in the heart of the campus.
The theme of the Conference is from theory to action; we will explore strategies and approaches to moving beyond the theory of digital capabilities, the frameworks and pilot projects, to implementation, and ultimately, change.
Presenters from a range of institutions will showcase their work, share their experience, approaches and strategies to help delegates improve digital capabilities, engage staff and students in their digital skills development and instigate change at their institutions.
We are delighted to be joined by Donna Lanclos who will deliver one of this year’s keynotes as well as an interactive workshop. We look forward to hearing Donna’s provocative take on frameworks, models, identity and moving beyond metaphors.
Following positive feedback from last year’s event, we will be running parallel sessions on the first day, allowing longer interactive workshops and an opportunity to select topics of most relevance to delegates’ roles and interests.
This event will be of particular interest to those involved in supporting and promoting digital skills development, such as IT trainers, learning technologists, library and IT staff and educational developers.
Our previous events have sold out so early booking is advised. We look forward to seeing you in May!
