Extremely well attended, the conference provided opportunities to catch up with familiar faces from the UK and new friends made in Amsterdam at The Class of 2020 conference.
As in Amsterdam, the provision of superfast WiFi for student accommodation ranked highly on the agenda as a service students often value more than hot water. ASK4 is the industry leader in high-speed internet solutions and managed data services for student and multi-tenanted accommodation, currently serving over 135,000 customers across several hundred sites in the UK and Europe.
In 2015, ASK4 won the Internet Service Providers’ Association award for “Best Consumer Customer Service”, and provided the broadband service for the winner of “Best Student Broadband” and “Best Provide Halls” (plus all those shortlisted) in the National Student Housing Survey awards.
As a specialist provider, ASK4 have a proud reputation for consistently successful, on-time project delivery, providing services that attract and retain occupants. These services include superfast broadband, full site WiFi, a 24/7/365 technical Support Helpdesk staffed at their Sheffield HQ, IPTV with international channels and VoIP telephony. ASK4 also offer a range of infrastructure networks to enable building services such as IP-CCTV and door access control.
The ASK4 conference stand also featured a Quella fixie bike prize draw that transformed into a generous donation for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity in Sheffield. The prize draw, sponsored by Student Source, was claimed by Angus Kearin of Urbanest. A keen cyclist, Angus was thrilled to win but is already the proud owner of 7 bikes! Not wishing to oversupply his cycling needs, Angus kindly asked for the value of his prize to be donated to the cancer charity via 4Challenge – ASK4’s annual charitable cycling challenge in support of Weston Park.
