The University of Roehampton has announced the promotions of Andrew Skinner to the post of University Secretary, and Mark Ellul to the position of Registrar.
Andrew Skinner will hold overall responsibility for the good governance of the institution, ensuring both charity and company law requirements, and reporting obligations to government bodies are met. He will be Clerk to the University’s Council and will ensure the fundamental institutional relationships with the University’s four College Providing Bodies are maintained.

In addition, he will oversee the administration of academic appeals, student complaints, student discipline and internal governance processes, as well as having responsibility for the Senate, the University’s principal academic board.
As Registrar, Mark Ellul will take overall responsibility for student administration services, corporate planning and alumni development, as well as student facing services such as wellbeing, sport and careers all of which are critical to our success as a university.
Both men have served the university for a number of years, and take up their new roles with immediate effect.
