To truly engage with its residents, Campus Living Villages has launched an exclusive student competition via Facebook

To truly engage with its residents, Campus Living Villages has launched an exclusive student competition via Facebook. Tailored to five of its sites and hosted on their respective Facebook pages – Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds, Newport and Essex – the competition will see any student that books a room for the next academic year automatically entered into a free prize draw for the chance to win accommodation overseas at one of CLV’s sites, along with return flights. Runner up prizes range from iPads to Amazon vouchers.

Having recently acquired 4,539 beds in eight student accommodation properties in Leeds, Manchester, London, Nottingham, Birmingham, Liverpool and Newport, CLV was looking for a unique way to engage with potential residents at the new sites.  

With the procurement, made in a joint venture with Arlington Investments, comes the challenge of marketing to the student ‘consumer’. With a wide array of choice now available for students, an engaging communications strategy from CLV has been implemented, to primarily encourage bookings at their sites.
