This fantastic charity has three hospices across the region which provide respite breaks, as well as palliative and end of life care to children with life shortening illnesses. The charity supports the whole family through these difficult times and aims to help them make the most of their short and precious lives.
Mark Burchfield, Managing Director commented: “We are really pleased to get behind such a worthwhile charity that not only provides specialist care to sick children and their families, but also helps them to find the space and time away from the worries of caring, to smile and enjoy time together as a family. We are looking forward to giving them our much needed support.”
StudentCom plans to support the charity with a variety of fundraising events, from cake sales and recycling to participation in CHSW’s many organised and fun events planned throughout the year. The StudentCom Charity Committee has already been busy brainstorming plenty of ideas for fundraising, with the ‘£50 Challenge’ and ‘Ride for Precious Lives’ looking like popular events.
StudentCom invite you to help them in supporting this charity and follow the events they have planned for the year.
