We believe in the ethos of ‘pay it forward’, which is why we are offering each of the winners of the Young Leaders Awards 2015 a free place on our leadership or sales training programmes to recognise their success and fast-track their careers at a local training centre in the UK. Launching your career is a daunting prospect for anyone. Sandler Playbook for Young Adults(R) is a 20-week classroom and coaching programme that equips students to answer questions about themselves to match their interests, skills and talents to future career options best suited to their interests and aptitudes – and then to do research about career or job options and help direct him or her down the right career path. They will learn key life skills including the power of a personal activity log, goal setting, how to manage interruptions, how to identify and overcome procrastination and understand the value of scheduling.
The winners of each category will develop heightened self-awareness, recognise the traits that lead to success and failure in any activity in life, develop the capacity to plot a path for their future and achieve it. In today’s crowded, competitive employment market, graduates are entering the workforce at a particularly difficult time, a time where setting yourself apart from your competition is crucial. The winners will learn the skills and values of leadership and the power of humility and vulnerability, plus the skills to recognise and stay out of psychological games that lead to self-sabotage, bullying in the workplace and career limiting beliefs that hamper an individual’s progress in life and the workplace.

For those wishing to pursue a career in sales, run their own business or achieve a fast-track to management responsibility in an enterprise employer, they may prefer to pursue the sales option. This includes a 12-month membership to the Sandler Presidents Club(TM), the world’s most comprehensive, behaviour-based sales training programme delivered through classroom, self study, personal coaching and real-world experience.
The winners of each category who choose this option will join business owners and professional salespeople on their journey to learn how to sell like the top 2% of professional salespeople worldwide. They will learn to understand themselves and their customers so they can adjust to communicate with anyone on their level. They will learn key skills like verbal contracting to eliminate mismatched expectations and mutual mystification. The winners will gain practical experience in the areas of behaviour, attitude and technique which will help them develop and execute plans, deliver predictable results and overachieve against their targets. They will learn how to discuss money and gain agreement for a decision in a predictable way that plays to how the human mind actually makes decisions and buys. They will learn how to eliminate stalls and objections, and close without putting themselves or the buyer under pressure.
