Campus Living Villages (CLV) has welcomed a new Sales & Retention Manager to its expanding UK team.
Simon Dickinson, who is based in CLV’s MediaCity offices in Salford, has joined the organisation after five years with Unite Students.
At Unite, Simon held the role of Sales Performance Manager for the North of the UK where he was responsible for maximising occupancy and rental income across 69 sites in 14 cities. Previously Simon held various operational retail management roles, working as Brand Manager for the Fawaz Alhokair Group in Saudi Arabia, and for Phones4U and Dixons Retail.
Simon explained: “CLV is one of the world’s largest student accommodation providers, with an inspiring growth rate in the UK. I’m looking forward to impacting all areas of the business and helping to drive key aspects of the company’s sales initiatives. From devising new ways to maximise occupancy and returner levels to expanding CLV’s unique resident life programme, ‘vplus’, there are a number of opportunities to develop these offerings into innovative, market-leading models across the globe.

Robert Moyle, CLV UK’s Operations Director said: “Simon has a wealth of student accommodation experience in the Sales and Operations arena and will be a major asset to our team as we grow the business. His role includes the development of a range of forward-thinking, new ideas – all of which promise to enhance CLV’s range of student accommodation options and student experience.”
Simon will be reporting to Robert Moyle and working closely with CLV’s Regional Executive Team, which includes the company’s newly appointed UK CEO, Richard Gabelich, and Finance Director, David Lewis.
