Founder of IE Design Consultancy is amongst the first to be awarded the Visiting Industrial Fellowship from Aston University

The founder and MD of Birmingham based company IE Design Consultancy is amongst the first to be awarded the Visiting Industrial Fellowship from Aston University in recognition of his ongoing support for the University’s Business School and local businesses.

Ollie Leggett was one of the first graduates of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme to be awarded the Visiting Industrial Fellowship from Aston University. The Fellowship is awarded to exceptional alumni of the scheme who have provided significant support to the University’s Business school and to other local businesses across the region.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme was created to provide support for high growth SMEs across the UK. Ollie Leggett, together with twelve other alumni from the programme, were the first group to have been honoured due to their ongoing commitment to the University of Aston since graduating. Ollie has worked tirelessly to provide invaluable insight and expertise to the University, supporting its staff, students and research across a range of projects and programmes, including representing SMEs, contributing to Lord Heseltine’s recent ‘No Stone Unturned’ report and Lord Young‘s ‘Small Business Charter.’

Ollie, both a businessman and entrepreneur himself, founded his own company IE Design Consultancy in Birmingham in 1994. The award winning agency, celebrating its 20th successful year, offers branding, marketing and digital support to the education, charity and healthcare sectors.
