From Literacy to Life

Support technologies to boost literacy in the classroom

At Texthelp, we believe that literacy is every student’s passport to academic success. We’re a leader in assistive and language learning software, with products that support students at every step of the education journey, including: learning to read, literacy support in class and at home, and help with reading exams.

It’s our genuine desire to help people communicate. This sparks us to create smart, friendly support technologies that enable young people to read and write with confidence. Our products are used daily by students and educators in schools, colleges and universities worldwide.

The Read&Write family now offers even more tools to help pupils with reading, writing, studying and researching on Windows, Mac, tablets or when working in Google Apps for Education. Read&Write’s easy-to-use toolbar can be used in the classroom, exams or even at home. Ultimately, we want to provide simple, seamless access to all the great features of Read&Write wherever and whenever users need it.

We’ve also made some big enhancements to Fluency Tutor for Google, based on user feedback. We’ve added lots of feature updates plus a brand new unified interface. Teachers and students can now turn any webpage into a Fluency Tutor passage, rather than being restricted to a library of pre-selected reading passages. Teachers can also share passages with individual students or the entire class using the Google Classroom ‘share’ button. And since it works with any online content, it’s the perfect complement to other existing teacher approaches.

Our professional solutions team help to embed our technologies into online literacy and learning resources from leading publishers. We’re a trusted integration consultant to the educational publishing industry, with twenty years’ experience creating technology solutions for literacy and learning.
