The TMUC (The Millennium University College) in Pakistan have unveiled their new fashion studio in collaboration with Regent’s University London. Staff from Regent’s travelled over to be part of the inauguration and were welcomed by TMUC’s CEO Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq.
Neil Herrington, Regent’s Head of Student Recruitment, commented: “The fashion studio is for students who wish to sell their work within a boutique environment ahead of opening their own shops or launching their own labels.” The two institutions have been partners since last October which has enabled students from TMUC to complete their studies in London.
Neil adds: “We signed an articulation agreement with TMUC earlier this year, meaning that students who successfully complete their Pearson/Ed Excel HNDs in Fashion Textiles can join the second year of Regent’s BA Fashion Design, or BA Fashion Design with Marketing degree. Those studying for their HNDs in Business can enter our BA Global Management programme. TMUC are the University College wing of the Roots Millennium school system, one of the largest private school systems in Pakistan operating institutions from kindergarten up to University College level. Regent’s Institute of Languages & Culture has also been working with TMUC to develop a Master of Arts degree programme in Teaching and Learning for the professional development of all teachers in the Roots Millennium system”.
