LHEG makes funding offer to healthcare educators in the capital

Up to £30,000 of project funding is available to LHEG members for projects benefitting London-based healthcare education

The London Healthcare Education Group (LHEG) is inviting bids from members for up to £30,000 of project funding.

LHEG is a division of London Higher, the representative body for higher education providers in the capital, and brings together strategic leads from 17 institutions offering nursing, midwifery and applied health sciences courses in the city.

“We are delighted to launch this funding and to progress projects that have the potential to directly benefit London-based healthcare education,” said Matt Purcell, policy and projects lead at LHEG and London Higher.

Would-be beneficiaries of the funding must be working on projects designed and delivered between at least two universities, or a university and a partner organisation, with quantifiable outputs that boost healthcare education in London.

“This project funding will help to lead and shape healthcare education in London, working collegiately to solve complex challenges across London and the nation,” added Purcell.
