Under New Management

Friday 1 July saw Campus Living Villages formally take over the management of the 656 bed student accommodation

Friday 1 July saw Campus Living Villages formally take over the management of the 656 bed student accommodation facility in Birmingham known as ‘Bagot Street’.

The deal is part of their partnership with Arlington Advisors, which has already seen new villages in Exeter, Gloucestershire and Cheltenham added to their ever expanding portfolio. News of the venture was officially released in March of this year and saw the company’s UK portfolio grow by a further 1,941 beds across eight sites, taking their total number of beds to an impressive 12,656.

The ‘Bagot Street’ site will now form part of their new multi-location My Student Village: Birmingham brand, further enhancing their presence in the city. As part of the transaction, they will also be developing a further 492 beds in the area to cater to the needs of the city’s University of Birmingham, Birmingham City University and Aston University students.

Current and future residents of the Bagot Street properties will benefit from being part of the wider My Student Village community, including the Go Explore and Live, Learn & Grow resident life and Village Life programmes to name a few!

Richard Gabelich, CEO Campus Living Villages UK, said: “I’m delighted to officially bring the Bagot Street property into the My Student Village: Birmingham family. With a growing team in the bustling student city, we are dedicated to ensuring not only excellent pastoral care and support, but also to creating a memorable and fun experience for all our residents. This site, along with the future developments we have planned, continues to show our commitment to deliver a unique student experience in major university locations across the UK.”
