Then & Now: Bangor University since 1884

We take a look back and a leap forward at the expanding campus at Bangor University through the years

The University of Bangor received its Royal Charter in 1885 and was one of the founding member institutions of the former federal University of Wales.

Today more than 11,000 students and over 650 teaching staff based in 23 Academic Schools grouped into five Colleges
