The University of Sussex is a unique meetings and events space conveniently located off the A27 in Brighton. The venue offers a purpose built Conference Centre, holding a capacity of 250. With a licensed bar, outdoor terrace, natural day light in all rooms as well as integral AV, the Centre lends itself to business meetings, conferences and fine dining events.
The Jubilee Building provides a 500-seat lecture theatre, 11 business seminar rooms, networking and exhibition spaces and a contemporary café area providing a relaxed atmosphere for refreshment breaks.
During vacation the venue offers an abundance of lecture theatres, meeting spaces, exhibition/reception spaces and computer rooms. A variety of accommodation options are available to compliment the University spaces during vacation; new for 2014 are the Northfield en-suite residencies. All bedroom rates include a delicious English style buffet breakfast.
Hospitality is provided in-house by SussexFood and Executive Chef Luca Nervi has specifically designed menus which are fresh, exciting, innovative and locally sourced. For a unique dining experience guests can choose from a menu specially designed by Brighton chef Ben Mckellar, aka the Ginger Chef from the renowned Gingerman Restaurant Group.
