The awards are truly democratic, following a shortlisting process by the awards judging panel, winners are chosen directly by the CUBO membership.
Business Manager of the Year winner, Calum Maclachlan, University of Aberdeen, said: “To be judged so positively by my colleagues and peers and winning this award, is truly humbling and is perhaps one of the proudest achievements of my career so far. Winning it is also a reflection of the benefits, knowledge and best practice experiences I’ve enjoyed learning & hearing about during my time as a CUBO member.

Winners of both Commercial University of the Year and Best Marketing Campaign, the University of Leeds said: “On behalf of all of our colleagues at the University we are really delighted to win these two prestigious awards. Best Student Housing winner, the University of Hertfordshire, said: “The University of Hertfordshire is very pleased and honoured to have been awarded Best Student Housing at the CUBO Awards. I would like to thank all of the CUBO members that voted for us as well as the teams and partners at the University of Hertfordshire that have worked so hard on providing an outstanding student residential scheme that contributes to transforming student lives.”
