To ensure that we can meet the demanding and changing needs of our institutions, we face the challenge of ensuring that our IT infrastructures are able to continue to adapt and evolve accordingly. Although our own institutions are all in some way unique, when it comes to our infrastructures, there are three key components: the tin, the cloud, and the people.
For those of us tasked with designing, implementing and managing our IT infrastructures, not only must we get the right quantities of these ingredients right, we also have to use them in the most effective way to ensure that we can meet our own goals and objectives. This year’s Infrastructure Group Conference will seek to help you not only better understand the technical and also nontechnical challenges this brings, but also offer insights, solutions and ideas as to how to address and indeed avoid them.
Aimed at IT Directors, Infrastructure Managers and Technologists, IG18 The changing face of infrastructure: tin, clouds and people will offer a full programme of insightful and thought provoking presentations from sector colleagues, business showcases, and interactive sessions. As ever, IG18 will offer excellent peer networking opportunities, something that we know is very much valued by our delegates.
For this year’s conference, we return to the magnificent Crewe Hall. Set within the beautiful Cheshire countryside, this fantastic venue is located just 10 minutes from the M6 junction 16, only 3 miles from Crewe Station, and is within easy reach of the thriving cities of Manchester and Liverpool.
Now in its fourth consecutive year, the event organising committee will be working hard to bring you another yet useful, rewarding and enjoyable IG conference. Make sure that you follow #igconf18 for updates on how the conference is developing.
We look forward to seeing you at Crewe Hall!
