The University of Northampton’s multi-award-winning Waterside Campus, which opened in September last year, is in the running to pick up another gong.
A regional finalist in the 2020 Civic Trust Awards, rewarding excellence in the built environment, the university will discover whether the £330m town centre development has been chosen for a commendation or national award on December 9.
“I’m delighted Waterside has been shortlisted as a regional finalist for the national 2020 Civic Trust Awards,” said director of estates and campus services, Becky Bradshaw, “receiving recognition not only for its architecture and environmental design, but also the positive cultural, social, economic and environmental benefits the new campus has brought to the local community.
“We look forward to the award winners announcement and hope we can add it to the long list of accolades Waterside has already secured.”
