Simon Law has joined the University of Exeter as its new catering director.
Simon Law has recently joined from Compass Group and is tasked with the student experience, developing a team committed to providing an excellent service and continuing to enhance the catering and retail offer at the University.
Speaking of his appointment, Simon said: “I am passionate about retail and catering. Exeter has already got a very strong reputation within the University sector for providing award-winning catering and a diverse retail offer and I look forward to working with the teams to develop this further.”
Simon is focused on ensuring high standards and creating an international experience with a wide range of healthy choices and value for money for customers.
During his time at Compass Group, Simon worked across several territories (including Germany, Gibraltar and the South Atlantic Islands), looking after the strategic direction and delivery of catering, food and beverage services. He has over 10 years’ experience providing catering for the defence sector and has spent time with national retail chain, Morrisons.
Campus Services (CaS) comprise a team of over 700 staff who provide an extensive range of front-line services to support the smooth operations of the University of Exeter. CaS also plays a significant role in looking after the stewardship of the University and contributing to activities delivered by the university.
