Many of our frameworks have education specific lots, and we offer a range of sustainable technologies to help your campus achieve energy efficiency outcomes including reduced carbon emissions and increased cost savings. Select from technologies such as the design, maintenance and installation of solar photovoltaic systems, battery storage, electric vehicle charging, LED lighting, cladding replacement and external wall insulation.
Or, if you’re seeking to procure a range of heating services, our new Heating and Renewables Framework features several lots including one supported by the Department for Education. Our lots provide solutions for consultancy, quality assurance, design, service, maintenance and installation options for all fuel types including renewable technology.
We’re busy working on a host of active projects within higher education from feasibility studies to the delivery of temporary and permanent contemporary modular building solutions, ideal for expanding campus facilities and catering for a growing student population. Completed works have included creating flexible teaching spaces featuring lecture suites, PC labs and quiet zones – accommodating up to 1,000 students.
To support with service streamlining, we procure Total FM service contracts for education providers such as cleaning, reactive maintenance and a variety of ground works, in addition to health and safety inspections, building condition surveys and delivering project management support.
The UK’s first energy positive Active Office on a university campus was procured through Fusion21, resulting in an architecturally designed, high performance building, which generates and stores more energy than it uses. This project integrated solar thermal and solar photovoltaic technology combined with battery storage, smart building sensors and electric vehicle charging points.
