The University of Exeter has been chosen as the site for the inaugural campus-based Pret

Pret A Manger has announced it will be opening its first ever campus-based shop at the University of Exeter, with work starting on the site in the coming weeks.

The shop, located in the Forum, is expected to open towards the end of April and follows the successful opening of Pret’s first outlet in Exeter last September.

Caroline Cromar, Pret’s Group Director of Food and a trained nutritionist, believes that the fresh, natural menu will be of real benefit to the university’s students. She explained: “We know it can be difficult to prepare fresh and wholesome meals every day when living away from home, so we’re pleased we can be here to offer a little helping hand when required.”

Phil Attwell, Director of Campus Services at the University of Exeter, added: “The new outlet will help to further expand the offering of fresh, healthy foods available to our staff and students.”
