Victoria Hall Management Limited (VHML) has completed a seven-storey £24 million Private Build Student Accommodation in Sheffield’s city centre. It will be operated under its award-winning student-facing brand Host which manages 42 sites across Europe and the UK.

The management team has a five year agreement with Sheffield Hallam University to help house students in the building’s accommodation.

A 10-15 minute walk from the town’s university Collegiate and City Campuses, The Elements offers a mix of 4, 5 and 6 bed cluster flats, conveniently situated next to three supermarkets. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and share a kitchen and dining area with self-contained flats also available; students will also have access to an on-site cinema room, pool and games room and a gym.

Mr John Nesbitt, Managing Director of VHML, said: “Victoria Hall are delighted to launch The Elements student accommodation building in Sheffield which we have recently developed on behalf of the Blackrock European Fund and will be managed under our Host brand. We are honoured that Karen Burke, Head of ASRA and Accommodation Services at Sheffield Hallam University officially opened the scheme. We are pleased to have successfully worked in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University and the City Council in helping to deliver their Accommodation Strategy for the city. This is a fabulous student accommodation scheme which we believe offers award-winning, high-quality accommodation and living experience to Hallam’s students. Host offers hassle-free, all-inclusive student accommodation and provides students with a welcoming, reassuring and stress-free experience at university.”

Mr Kevin Williamson, Investment Director of Host says, “Sheffield is a first-class University City and we’re keen to extend our partnership with Sheffield Hallam University. This development will give 735 of its first year students a fantastic place to live with all the facilities and services that a student today requires in order to successfully progress their academic life.”

This residence is Victoria Hall’s second property under management in the city, taking its total beds to 1502 in the city.

The Elements was development managed and delivered by VHML’s development arm Tiger Developments and designed by O’Connell East Architects based in Manchester.
