Finalists announced for Tata Varsity Pitch 2019
The seven category winners in the student entrepreneurship-promoting competition will all be hoping to claim the overall prize at a grand final in London later this month
Whittled down from a record 424 entries, the seven finalists for this year’s Tata Varsity Pitch have been announced.
Organised by NACUE, a charity promoting, entrepreneurship amongst students in higher education and further education, the tenth running of the national business competition saw entrepreneurs from more than 80 UK institutions applying for this year’s £15,000, equity-free prize fund.
“NACUE would like to thank all of the entrepreneurs who applied for this year’s competition and to the 30 semi-finalists for pitching hard to get through,” said NACUE CEO, Holly Knower.
The seven category winners now go forward to a business boot-camp, before making one last pitch at the grand final, held at the British Library on November 20 as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week
The category winners are:
Tata Disruptive Business
