Multi-professional construction firm Pick Everard has been appointed to deliver state-of-the-art buildings and refurbishments for Cardiff University across a four-year framework worth £60 million.

Pick Everard, which has an office in Cardiff, has secured a place on the Building Consultants’ Framework for the university, delivering project management services. The annual capital spend on construction projects will be approximately £15 million over the next four years.

Robert Cleaver, regional director at Pick Everard, said: “We are pleased to be given the opportunity to work with Cardiff University to help improve and maintain its estate.

“Because we have established strategic partnerships at the University of Warwick and the University of Lincoln, as well as a growing portfolio in Wales which includes the University of South Wales; we felt we were ideally placed to work on this framework.

“We look forward to working with Cardiff University and completing successful projects together.”

Pick Everard will be delivering projects for the university, which range in value from between £1.5 and £15 million.

Karsan Vaghani, deputy director of estates (campus development), said: “We are very pleased to appoint Pick Everard to the Cardiff University Building Consultants’ Framework.

“The framework will develop a collaborative working arrangement that will further increase performance and deliver the highest levels of quality.”

The framework can also be used by the University of South Wales, Swansea University and Cardiff & Vale University Health Board for the delivery of project management services.
