Bucks New University’s mission is ‘more relevant than ever’ according to Professor Nick Braisby who has been appointed as Deputy Vice-Chancellor.

Professor Braisby is leaving the University of West London as Pro Vice-Chancellor – a position he has held since 2013 – to join Bucks in the autumn term.

He said: "I am delighted to be joining Bucks New University as Deputy Vice-Chancellor and especially so soon after the University has celebrated its 125th anniversary. I strongly identify with its historic mission to combine excellence in employment-focused and skills-based education with high quality applied research.

“The higher education sector is experiencing great change, and there is more to come, but Bucks New University’s mission is more relevant than ever. I believe delivering on this mission will enable our University to thrive.”
