The accommodation will be designed and developed by Campus Living Villages (CLV), as part of the prestigious partnership with the University, to deliver an enhanced student experience in a true partnership with the University. The main contractor for the construction is Sir Robert McAlpine.

Forming part of Fife Park, the property will span across nine new blocks and comprise a mixture of ensuite, non-ensuite and studios, in clusters of five. A shared kitchen and living room will provide a social area for student residents to gather in, offering a close-knit community feel.

CLV’s advisors for the project include international law firm Osborne Clarke and funding was provided by M&G Investments. The build will be completed in August next year.

Roger Smith, Director of Residential and Business Services at University of St. Andrews commented: “For our new student accommodation, it was vital for us to find a company to work with that has a reputation for excellence and consideration of all aspects on student life.  CLV is a truly global provider who we are confident can meet our expectations.”

Gary Clarke, CLV UK’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are delighted to be awarded the contract with University of St. Andrews. As a global provider, we have a highly experienced team of experts that understands how to deliver the best in student residences and look forward to providing this for the University of St Andrews for the next 40 years.”
